During the week of August 6-13, 2011 we had guests in our Outpost on Flint Lake along with folks at the main camp on Klotz Lake. Take a look at the video and you will see some great fishing. Bert

Once again another week of excellent fishing at Flint Wilderness Resort. We are in to the peak of summer in Northern Ontario with temperatures in the high 90’s. Our guests at Flint Wilderness Resort had some great fishing during the week of June 25- July 2, 2011.  We also started to get ready for the 2011 Black Bear hunt. We set up a new hunting area that has not been hunted since 1999.  We are looking for some excellent results.  Take a look at the video and you will see what we mean.  Bert

We have had a wonderful summer so far with sunny days and the fish biting.  This video is of the week of June 18-25, 2011.  With a full camp the Flint guests are not only fishing Klotz Lake but enjoying the fishing on our outer lakes as well.  Take a look at this video and you will see  some of our guest’s catches of the day.  Bert

During the week of June 4-11, 2011 the guests at Flint Wilderness Resort enjoyed another week of excellent fishing in the Canadian great outdoors. A number of the guests ventured off to some of our remote lakes for some wilderness fishing. Hank and I ventured off to our outpost on Flint Lake to get it ready for a group of fishermen for the next week. Take a look at the video and see what your missing. The week of May 28- June 4th offered some challenges with gale force winds and 3 days of power outages.  We had to be creative on our Tuesday’s hog roast with camp stoves, and baked beans and other dishes cooked on the grill. Despite the weather we had a great hog roast.  When the winds were over and the sun shined the fish started biting.  Some folks fished the remote lakes, and some stayed right on Klotz Lake.  Take a look at the video and check out all of the excitement.

     Every week Flint wilderness Resort offers a Tuesday night Hog Roast with all of the fixings.  This is a great event whereby guests can socialize and share stories of the big one that got away.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Bert
