I’d like to welcome all of our longtime and new guests to our brand new, state of the art, cutting edge blog!
We created this blog to keep all of our folks up to date with the latest information on Flint Wilderness Resort, here in Ontario Canada, as well as Ontario’s outdoor recreation, including Hunting and Fishing!
We have just finished promoting Flint Wilderness Resort at the sports shows in Indianapolis IN, and Columbus OH. It’s always a pleasure meeting and talking to you folks that have visited us in the past, as well as those who will be visiting us in the future. If we missed you this year, we look forward to catching you next year at the shows!
Our fishing season is going to start May 15th, 2010. After this long winter, we are looking forward to wetting a line for those walleye and pike up at Klotz Lake!

I’ve been to their place on a “once in a lifetimne fishing trip” 4 years in a row – you can drive right up to your cabin – fishing is GREAT – all the pike you want (big ones) – good sized walleye are plentiful and some perch – you will laugh at the cable tv fishing guys after you’ve been here – you can fish 12 hours a day (no joke) and rest when you want – recommend for fisher people who really like to fish – compare to your local state park setup – not real fancy but everything you need for a GREAT fishing trip !

This will be the 11th year in a row that we have gone up to the Flint Wilderness Resort. This is the best fishing of any place I ever have been. The fishing in Klots lake is really good, but the fishing on some of the out laying lakes is out of this world! The only problem is comming home and fishing at the lakes around here is so disppointing compared to what there is in Canada.
Another thing, the Goodman’s are the best! Great people and will do any thing they can to make sure your trip is going to be great.

a great place, for family and serious fishermen. we have been going to the lodge for over 10 years. have caught lots of fish have seen lots of bear and moose. the goodman family treats you like family. would recommend the lodge to families with young children they will enjoy the amount of fish they will catch. joe baczek
