After 27 years of guiding Black Bear hunters in the great state of Maine, North Country Lodge once again had a very successful hunt. This year North Country Lodge hunters successfully bagged 28 Black Bears and sighted 52 in just 3 weeks. When hunting at North Country Lodge you will find accommodations to be second to none. The guides are professional with years of experience to offer. The hunt includes accommodations, meals prepared from expert cooks, maid service, transportation to and from the hunting grounds, care of your game to include butchering, deboning and wrapping of the meat. Flint Wilderness Resort Black Bear Hunt August 20-27, 2011

During the week of August 20-27, 2011 Flint Wilderness Resort guided 6 hunters to a very successful Black Bear Hunt. Out of the 6 bear hunters we successfully bagged 5 Black Bears and sighted 20 bears total. Included in this hunt is accommodations, full fishing package with boat motor and gas along with a fully guided hunt. Our professional guides prepare the hunting grounds well in advance, Supply transportation to and from the hunting grounds. Once you have bagged your bear the guides skin, debone, butcher and wrap the meat so that it is ready for your kitchen table. We look forward to seeing you on a Black Bear hunt in 2012.

Flint Wilderness Resort August 13-20, 2011 Black Bear Hunt

At Flint Wilderness Resort we just finished a fantastic opening week of the 2011 Black Bear Hunt. With 10 hunters, we successfully harvested 9 Black Bears. The hunters had lots of excitement with 32 bear sightings total; 4 of which were over 300 lbs.
